In Android 16, two changes are
introduced for the 2G toggle. The toggle enables or disables 2G
connectivity on the device.
Minor UX adjustment
To align with the rest of the Settings, the following changes are introduced
to the 2G toggle present under SIM Settings. These changes are also shown in the
following figure:
The title is changed from Allow 2G to 2G network protection.
The description is updated to align with the title.
The default toggle state is updated to align with the title and the
description.

Additional entry point
An additional entry point for 2G toggle corresponding to each of the SIMs
(physical SIM or eSIM) on the device is added to the Mobile
network security section in the Safety Center under
Settings.
