Specific to time, Android enables you to manage time zone options and automatic
time detection. In addition to the infrastructure needed to negotiate complications
of time zone rule provided in Android
(see Time Zone Rules
for details), AAOS provides the following capabilities specific to time zones and
time detection:

Choose how to synchronize time from wither the Android Automotive Operating System (AAOS)
or from vehicular systems to Android.

Learn how to configure automatic time detection to receive time suggestions from

to use the time zone rule to configure the accurate display of time in your automotive
infotainment systems.
